Ready Player One, Steven Spielberg & The BTTF DeLorean
The European Premiere of “Ready Player One” opened in London and our DeLorean featured centre stage at the star studded event.
The BTTF Car took pride of place being positioned outside the main entrance.
Leicester Square was transformed for the Ready Player One Premiere.
Giant LED screens transmitted the trailer and live feed from the stage so everyone could see.
Beautiful Blue carpets has been laid and the crowds started to gather at the safety barriers.
Alex Zane presented the live show to interview the cast.
Facebook had a live feed covering the whole event.
Greeting the cast as they walked down the blue carpet and up on the stage to discuss their experience making the movie.
crowds greeted every cast member appearing with a cheer.
The main hero of the movie Ty Sheridan who portrayed Parzival, took to the stage sharing his experience from his time on set.
After he headed over to see The Ready Player One DeLorean and have photos, He kindly signed our drivers sun visor.
More cast members arrived including Simon Pegg, He’s a big movie fan and he couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel of the car to check it out.
Then came Mr Steven Spielberg.
A massive cheer resinated from the crowds, Camera’s spun around to see the commotion.
The legendary Hollywood director Steven Spielberg had arrived.
Walking down the barriers which were packed with fans he gracefully signing autographs & posed for selfies.
Alex interviewed was amazing. Then he came down the stairs and headed straight to the DeLorean Time Machine open passenger door!!
Communicate with Amblin and Warner Brothers had finally paid off.
The BTTF Car dash board was moments away from being signed by this Legend.
Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think this would happen.
This was a red letter day in the history of our DeLorean.
Officially becoming the only DeLorean Time Machine in the world signed inside by Steven Spielberg.
He knew of the history behind our BTTF DeLorean Time Machine telling us it was a pleasure to sign it.
His full autograph features next to his good friends Robert Zemeckis, Bob Gale , Alan Silvestri and Michael J Fox.
Steven Spielberg interacted with the live camera filming and gave everyone at home a wave.
Ernest Cline who’s author of the original novel attended and kindly signed our dashboard.
He loved our car and spoke about his own DeLorean “Ecto-88 “ he had custom built.
